Chuck E Cheese

We decided to try out Chuck E Cheese the other night. Dax has been with grandparents recently, but I've not taken him since he was 1 back in Dallas. Dax always asks to go when we pass it on the way to church. We had a coupon, so we decided to try it. Lets just say sensory overload. My 2 1/2 year old had fun, but I've seen him enjoy other places more. It may be better for slightly older kids. My husband and I were relieved to leave all the noise and flashing lights. They do safety stamps where all the adults/kids have a invisible stamp checked at the door. I liked this except for my baby they gave me a sticker with the stamp on it and we'd lost it by the time we left. If we go back, I'll ask them to stamp everyone directly on their skin. The pizza was okay. Not great, not inedible. About what you'd expect from Chuck E Cheese.

Sugarbaby's

Sugarbaby'sis a little boutique cupcake shop. The cupcakes are pricey, but good. It's a cute outing for your little girls, though my 2 year old son didn't notice the girly decor over that blue icing he was eating. He loved pouring the sprinkles on his cupcake from the sprinkle bar. The sprinkle bar is just 6 little containers filled with different kinds of sprinkles. This made all the difference in adding just a little more to our visit.

Noah's Ark Pool

We met some friends at a baby/ preschool pool today. It was really great. Dax and his friend could walk and play in the water without having to swim or be held the whole time. There were water slides they could do themselves (if so inclined - Dax was not so brave.) It is a perfect place to go in this heat. It's a bit more than a spray park, but not quite a pool.
